What is today's blog about?
In this article, we discuss what happens after you sit your RICS APC final assessment interview.

When will I receive my result?
If you have already sat your assessment, you will receive your result by email within 5 working days (and by 5pm). It will also be confirmed on your ARC homepage.
You'll need to make sure that your email address is registered on your online RICS account if you want to receive your email assessment result (although we suspect you'll also be checking ARC religiously by this point!).
Candidates who do not receive their result by 5pm are advised to contact RICS directly by telephone.
What happens if I pass?
If you were successful at this sitting:
Your name will be added to the Members Directory within 24 hours of receiving your result
Your name will be added to the full pass list published by RICS at the end of the assessment session
Your award pack will be sent out by post within 21 days of your result being received
You will also have to pay a one-off upgrade subscription fee
Make sure you continue to record your CPD in line with the MRICS requirements.
What happens if I am referred?
If you were unsuccessful at this session, you will be able to download your referral report from ARC within 21 days of receiving your result. You will also receive an email notification.
Make sure you download a copy of your referral report as it may subsequently become unavailable when ARC is re-opened for you to record your ongoing experience.
